Minutes of GBM of IMA Nashik Road held on 2nd May, 2023. At Jairam Hospital

• 1. At 4 pm meeting was adjourned for 20 min due to lack of quorum.
• 2. At 4.20 pm GBM was called to order by the President Dr Swapnanjali Avhad, without quorum.
• 3. Since our association's registration status is not clear due to lack of documents, it was decided to consider all the legal aspect seeking advice from Adv. Bhausaheb Gambhire and to explore options of registration.
• 4. Before registering the society, the Constitution and bylaws need to be drafted. It was decided to amend the by laws and constitution (if required) to align with that of the draft received from State IMA designed for branches. President and Secretary along with Advisory committee will draft the constitution with the help of Advocate Bhausaheb Gambhire (Legal Advisor for majority of the societies in Nashik). Amended copy of Constitution and bylaws will be made available on WhatsApp official group and will be finalised in next meeting.
• 5. Need to have own IMA Hall or Office was discussed. Looking at the impractical expenses on rent/lease it was decided to purchase a property, if suitable place is available within budget.
• 6. The need for digitalization of the IMA data and records was discussed. It was agreed upon to buy and maintain a cloud storage account online along with maintaining a website of IMA Nashik Road. The data has to be maintained every year by the team and to be handed over to next year team.
• 7. Till we have our own premises, Permission was seeked from Dr Kanaujia sir to allow us to keep our important documents in a cupboard at Jairam Hospital Seminar hall. Dr Kanaujia sir gave permission for the use of premises. For other important documents like the FD certificates , we will be applying for a locker at Bank of Maharashtra. As the team changes, access will be handed over to the next team.
• 8. Everyone agreed upon having Oration in the name of Founder president Dr DG Pekhale Sir only. For any other oration, a donation of 5 lakhs will be accepted.
• 9.Members above 75 year age will be considered honorary members of IMA Nashik Road. Honorary members can pay fees voluntarily.
• 10. Following fund raising activities were agreed upon in GBM

- Compiling IMA Nashik Road Telephone Directory this year.
- Accepting paid advertisements on WhatsApp Official group. Hence forth any commercial messages like Buy/ Sell / Lease and similar commercial messages will be charged Rs 2000 for IMA members and Rs 3000 for Non IMA members.
- Conducting Orations in Memory of a Person by accepting a Donation of Rs 5 lacs and above to IMA Nashik Road, for 10 years. This donation will be utilised for the IMA corpus. Meeting was concluded by President Dr Swapnanjali Avhad and Vote of Thanks were given by Hon. Secretary Dr. Mahesh Mangulkar.
